Hey all of ya out there.I am a 36 years young "Krauthead",and just moved to"Duernast"which is right in the middle of Vilseck and Grafenwoehr.I am getting married soon and very happy. But what really is hard over here is to meet people.I left all my friends back in Kaiserslautern. So,even though that i am a german i feel quiet strange up here.I still love hanging out and have a drink once a while, love going to the movies(especially scary ones),like shopping, love my job(hairstylist).like i have said,i am only looking for some people to hang out and make new friends. So if you are interesseted and feel strange here as well, please welcome to write me to: SBlietschau@gmx.de

Hello, I was born in Grafenwohr on Nov 30,1951. My father was a post postal office Lt. Earl F. Fox. I am a twin and it was written up in the Grafenwohr Gazzette that we were the first set of twins born in Grafenwohr. Our Doctor was Lt. George Hamrick. I am trying to get a copy of my birth certificate so I can get a hazardous materials endorsement for my CDL to drive a fuel truck in Iraq. Does anyone know how I can get a copy of my birth certificate. Thanks for your help.

I like the new sit. It brings me back to the old days. The post has really changed now. I was there from 1988 to 1998 plus I was station in Amberg in the early 80's. Pictures are really great. I like them the most. Keep it going and maybe someday I will try and visit.

BW Einrichtung hier in Deutschland.

Did you know ???
There is an Ice-hockey sports club in Weiden, called the “Blue Devils”. The team plays in the “Oberliga”, which is only two leagues below the professional German National Hockey League-DEL (Deutsche Eishockey Liga). The players do not only come from Germany, but from all over , e.g. Czech Republic, Canada, Finland. They are being trained by Alex Stein, a professional Canadian icehockey coach.
If you want to watch and enjoy good ice-hockey “Live”, come to the Weiden Hockey Rink at Raiffeisenstrasse ( next to the Indoor Swimming Pool -WTW-Weidener Thermen Welt). The games are usually either on Fridays at 20.00 hrs or Sundays at 18.30 hrs, a few on Tuesdays at 20.00hrs. The schedule can be obtained from the club’s website www.evweiden.de under the link “Blue Devils”-“Spielplan”, or on the coach’s homepage: http://alexstein.net/ , click on “ Blue Devils Schedule”.
Additional information is also available at: www.bluedevilsfan.de
Entry fees are very reasonable; €10.00 (standing) and €15 for a seat; discount for children and youths.
